Public events: Museums, Markets, Fairs

Looking to bring a vibrant, hands-on creative experience to your public event? Whether it’s in a museum, market, or festival setting, I offer engaging cyanotype workshops that invite people of all ages to slow down, connect with nature, and make something beautiful to take home.
I've facilitated workshops for a range of cultural institutions including Kew Gardens, The British Library (as part of the Crafty Fox Market), The British Museum (for the Summer Solstice Youth Takeover), John Lewis & Partners Staff Craft Club, Student Unions, and the Retreats. Each session was tailored to suit the space and the audience — but all followed the same joyful format: I bring the flowers, the prepared cyanotype paper, and the sunshine (when we’re lucky!) and guide participants in creating their own magical blue botanical prints.

These workshops are welcoming, beginner-friendly, and adaptable to your setting — whether you're running a craft fair, a family day at a museum, a cultural festival, or a youth-focused event. They're a perfect add-on for institutions who want to offer something meaningful, memorable, and visually striking. The cyanotype process is as educational as it is beautiful, and I love weaving in conversations around the natural world, inspired by Robin Wall Kimmerer’s teachings.
💬 If you're a museum, organisation, market or events team looking to add something special to your programme — let’s talk! I’m based in Surrey but travel happily, and can adapt the session to fit your time frame, location, and audience size (up to 20 participants per session, room depending).
Let’s make some blue magic together. 🌞💙
