Charities, Public Gardens & Park Workshops

Bringing people together through creativity, nature and shared purpose.
My cyanotype workshops are a beautiful way to activate green spaces and community gardens — inviting participants to connect with plants, each other, and a slower, more mindful way of making. Whether part of a community fundraiser, volunteer event, or educational activity, these workshops offer an accessible and enriching creative experience that meets people where they are.
One recent event took place in the apple orchard of Hands of Hope, a community-run charity restoring a heritage walled kitchen garden in West Kent. After a tour of their thriving grounds, we gathered under a marquee to experiment with cyanotype — using the very plants grown on site, and reflecting on the healing potential of gardens. Co-hosted by Floral Zine in support of the Lemon Tree Trust, the workshop brought together gardeners, artists and activists for a day that was joyful, grounding and full of care.

🌿 What to expect:
After a short introduction to the cyanotype process, we dive into printing using pressed flowers, freshly gathered plants, and personal items that reflect the space and the people in it. I tailor each workshop to suit your setting, audience and purpose — whether it’s a relaxed drop-in activity for a public open day, or a guided creative session for a specific group or cause.
🌞 Designed for outdoors or under cover:
Workshops can happen in gardens, orchards, parks, greenhouses or inside marquees — anywhere that sunlight and curiosity are welcome! The natural surroundings often inspire the prints themselves, grounding participants in the magic of place.

🫶 Rooted in shared values:
From supporting wellbeing and community building to raising awareness for important causes, these workshops create space for reflection, connection and creativity. If you're planning a public event, fundraiser or outreach programme — let’s talk about how we can make something special together.
