Bunny Cyanotype Print reproduction

The original was created using a real bunny on the size of the road while walking in the Lake District. With care and respect, I used the historic cyanotype process to create a life-size A3 print on hand-painted light-sensitive paper. The process uses sunlight to create deep prussian-blue impressions, like a photograph made without a camera — just light, chemistry, and time.

After sharing the piece online, I received so many messages asking for prints — so here they are, thoughtfully reproduced on beautiful cartridge paper.

The cyanotype process
Cyanotype is a 19th-century photographic printing technique that produces prints in rich Prussian blue. It captures delicate details and silhouettes using sunlight and chemistry, creating dreamy, x-ray-like impressions. Though these prints are reproductions, they’re made from a high-resolution scan of the original cyanotype, preserving every brush stroke and nuance.
