Cat Cyanotype Print Antique glass negative

To think that someone took a photo of their cat 100 years ago and now we get to have a copy is astonishing. This design was made using an antique glass photo plate that I found at a carboot sale and printed through the historic cyanotype process, a 19th-century chemical printing technique that uses sunlight to develop deep Prussian blue prints. The image forms like an x-ray, creating a ghostly, almost magical impression of the original negative.
