How it works:
· Choose your portrait type
· After you place your order, we’ll get in touch by email to collect reference photos and hear more about what you'd like included.
· If your request includes extra details (like multiple subjects, symbolic elements or backgrounds), we’ll let you know if this requires any add-ons. Everything will be confirmed before painting begins.
· If more detail is needed, we’re happy to arrange a short phone call to talk it through.
· Once agreed, your custom portrait will be hand-painted and posted to you with care.
🎨 We want to make sure you’re happy with the final idea — and that the painting reflects your vision while staying within your chosen budget.
Turnaround time: Depending on your commission please allow for 2–4 weeks for completion. (sometimes it'll go quickly but she needs adequate time to bring your commission to life)
Size: As each one is unique we can discuss the size but depending on the commission it could anywhere from A5 (14.8 x 21cm) A4 (21 x 29.7 cm) or A3 (29.7 x 42cm)
Delivery: Sent flat in a board-backed envelope

These original paintings will be created by my grandmother, the Beatrix Potter of the Cotswolds. She is an artist under the name of Jumping Hare, who has dedicated her whole life to her craft. Deeply inspired by the Cotswold countryside she calls home, her love for rural life shines through in every brushstroke, capturing the spirit and warmth of the English countryside.
